Critical Care/Stroke Neurologist & Neurohospitalist

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE critical care/stroke neurologist and a BC/BE neurohospitalist to join a hospital based neurology group with mid-level support. Both physicians will participate in developing a state-of-the-art neurology program. The critical care/stroke neurologist will be the third CCN in a dedicated Neuroscience ICU as part of an expanding hospital neurology practice. General neurology call for the neurohospitalist: 1 in 10.

Intermountain Healthcare’s new Intermountain Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma, tertiary care facility and stroke center opened in October 2007, continuing to serve the mountain west with the best healthcare available. ICU division rated top 20. Intermountain Medical Center is seeking Joint Commission primary stroke center certification. Intermountain Medical Center has a key focus on developing a comprehensive neurosciences program. Collaborative efforts between neurosurgery, neuroradiology, critical care medicine, neuro rehabilitation and trauma services provide patient support as well as many clinical and research opportunities.
