Seeking individual responsible for coordinating those activities intended to assist clinical staff to acquire, maintain, and/or increase unit-specific and bedside competence in patient care procedures, equipment operation, patient education, and documentation. As role model, consultant, change agent, educator, and facilitator, responds to and assesses needs of units as well as individuals, plans and implements educational strategies to meet those needs, evaluates learning and performance outcomes, and continually strives to raise the “competency bar” across the designated critical care population.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Montana RN license; a critical care certification preferred; provider/instructor status recommended in programs pertinent to designated areas (eg. ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC). Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field encouraged.

Experience: At least 5 years of critical care, with both ER and ICU clinical experience required; at least 2 years of teaching experience preferred; supervisory and/or case management experience helpful.
